Introduction to PyGAD -- analyzing cosmological simulations and more!

In this session, I would like to introduce everyone to a Python module developed in-house at MPA, PyGAD. It is a lightweight module that functions as a general-purpose simulation visualization and analysis tool; it is also able to swiftly generate synthetic absorption-line spectra using outputs from a given simulation snapshot. I would like to show how you can use PyGAD to quickly visualize simulation snapshots and perform some analysis on the data. Then, I will also show how I use PyGAD to generate absorption-line spectra to compare with observations. Maybe you will find this tool helpful for your work too!
